Fairy Shoe

It is no secret I have spent a  lot of time chasing
the fairy folk around in my imagination, as well as deep in the forest after the rain.
I have quietly searched under toadstools
and around the hay bales, for signs of them.
Once I did catch a glimpse of a shoe...
...as it disappeared into thin air...
This is to the best of my recollection  what that shoe
looked like up close and personal.
Note: No forest creatures were harmed in the
making of this shoe

Assemble your supplies:
acrylic shoe- distress stains- tiny metal bits- jewels-
-Maya road black pin- G45 metal butterfly-
not shown but used,:craft moss- glossy accents
TH- sign pins laser die cut fairy
To recreate this at home, you will need a craft mat.
Yes you can do it on other things, but if you buy
a proper heat proof product proof mat, you will not be sorry.
I used the  TH copper stain dauber and daubed
the entire acrylic shoe and fairy, both sides
Then I daubed just a hint of green to add
 dimension to the metal embellishments
and the inside of the clear shoe.
This will give you a very interesting molten color glass effect.
The heel was pointy and I had to prop it up
to dry it over night.
I stuffed it with two different colors of
craft moss used some broken bracelets for trim
as well as tiny findings and jewels for embellishments.

Then I assembled it all with Glossy Accents.
You could use these for a card holder
in a table setting or seating arrangement.
Just put the name you want on the fairy.
I had fun making this, it has been on my to do
list for quite some time.

Today Scrapbookers Paradise is offering you
a chance to win your choice of TH Distress Stain
