Mermaid Light box

 

 

 The fish riding man is popped up on thick foam dot inside the box for a 3D effect. The pieces of coral and cut outs are also popped in various places.

 For a touch of sparkle I added in a few sequins. This also helped to disguise the occasional area not covered with pattern paper.

This little light box is a Michaels box that was purchased and altered to suit my idea. It was an ocean balsa board box.

 I removed the Dolphin so I could place things in the box.

 I removed some of the pieces and used a heavy carpenters glue to secure most of the paper. It was a lot of fussy cutting and refitting. The paper is Graphic 45 'Voyage Beneath the Sea'
