Snowflakes, because I can
I have a few renegade puzzles around. Thought I would give this simple snowflake technique a try. I have seen them stacked up, in a thick stack. I tried that initially, but didn't like the thickness of them. So, I choose pieces as in photo below. Then I cut each piece in half with a sharp blade.
This made them easier to stack up. I found it more pleasing to my eye.
I glued them with a sturdy glue and let them dry overnight. Then I added a tacky dry glue and foiled them with Gilding.
Added bits of mica and tiny sequin stars last.
I will be using these in an upcoming ornament project.
