Nina Brook Dynamic Design Team

Thanks to Ninabrook Paper Crafters for the opportunity to be on their Dynamic Design Team. For more about this paper pack visit Ninabrook Paper Crafts

12 x 12 layout Start with one piece of coordinating double sided Aqua paper. I used a Wood Star shape to cut a template out of the paper, just slightly smaller than the star. Then flipped it so it will be a contrasting color. {this is the photo mat} Using Star paper cut a random border for the top. Then fussy cut several stars and sentiments from the pack. Yarn and Metal star are from the stash. BABY title Heidi Swapp emboss alpha. TH Distress Oxide Cracked Pistachio works well with this paper kit.

'Baby Boy' Banner. Cut tile shapes from Dark Brown card stock. Then carefully position and cut title letters out of the center of each tile. {don't worry, you are covering the brown with other layers} Using the pattern paper cut coordinating tile shapes one half inch smaller all the way around for the next layer. Continue in this fashion with more pattern paper till you get enough for 3 layers on each tile. Add bits of ribbon and tiny clothes pins. Use fussy cut onsies for separation. Secure to full length ribbon for hanging.

Its scrap time! 12 x 12 layout made with one piece of non pattern paper. First up I decided where I would put the photo, then cut that opening about one inch larger all the way around. Then flipped it so that the photo mat will contrast. Carefully lay it back in and secure from underside.  Next cut up all the smaller scraps in strips of various sizes and widths. Note I even used the cuts from the borders that is typically thrown away.  Layer them randomly. At this point I look for color matches from my piles of ephemera. The deer are from a napkin that is separated and then secured with Multi media glue. Butterfly is left over from another project. The flower a combination with a scrap of fabric sewn into a flower shape.
Quick easy shower card.
Emboss front of card, add scraps of paper. Cut title add a sticker.
Created with 'Little Boy Blue' EP kit HERE
