My sweet grandson Gabe is a one of a kind be your own
boy sort of guy. He is was only 4 at Christmas,
and turns 5 today.

That child has a sense of humor like no other.
For the longest time after Christmas he
insisted on calling me 'Santa' not sure why,
but it made me laugh everytime he did it.
In any event today, is his birthday
and I am posting a LO I did recently of him.
I think it is so fitting that the paper line

UPDATE: This is the look on a little boy's face when a
very dear family friend brings 'the horse's'
to his '5th' birthday party for him and all his friends to ride.

Being an original is something to celebrate for sure! I absolutely love how you pulled in so many elements that represent that on your page (beat of your own drum, Authentique, etc) - fabulous. And, for what it's worth, my 13 yo would pretty much have that same grin if he got to ride horses on his birthday :) Pretty awesome celebration!
