Interview with a five year old

I had the express pleasure of having my three oldest grandchildren

 stay with me for a couple of days.

On the last day their father came to dinner and to take them home.

We of course had to make a trip to town to buy

something good to feed him. On the way in I asked the youngest;

"Taryn, (she is 5 and will start kindergarten this fall)
what does your Dad like to eat?"

She answers " Oh, He will eat anything"

  "oh?"

"Yep Grandma he will!"

"Well can you think of anything that he likes especially well that we can get for supper?"

"Well....slight pause.....he just loves PICKLES"

"anything else?"

"Yes, he LOVES mushrooms too"

Thanks Taryn for making dinner a simple matter.

You make my heart smile with your clever ways and

you remind me of your mom when she was a little girl.
