WOYWW 286

Continued project update
 The 'first fairy-elf' coat -Autumn-
Read last weeks WOYWW 285 for the background tale on this project
Littlefoot's fairy coat Childs size 10
She wanted blue and black
Jazzy's fairy coat with detailed trim
This one has the Pixie Points
Gabby's 'Purple Passion'
This is the largest skirt so far. I can't wait to see them on the girls. I have a photographer lined up to take pictures on Christmas day. Snowy backdrop twirling and all that.
Sea and Sand for my sweet Irelyn. Her first choice was the teal and aqua blues. It took a bit of searching to find the right sweaters for this one.
 -Updated-

For Rhii, she wanted only black and white

This is a special detail so the back can be adjusted
All of the Christmas coats get a Crystal ring sewn on the end of the hats.

For 'Pippi'she loves the purples, this is the swarovski heart detail tucked in under the collar
That's 7 and I am done for a bit!!

I am linking up with Julia and the
faithful followers as well as
participants from around the world.
Join up or just visit, but remember to leave a bit of love wherever you go, so we know you have popped by. Keep smiling and creating one and all.

That is a great coat!
I inherited my grandmothers doll collection this past summer and I know how hard it is to design, dress little dolls. I am excited to see it finished, as it looks pretty fabulous at the moment!

Happy WOYWW! WOW, what an amazing coat, and I read the previous post about the sweaters, do you need to dye them first?

All you need is an Elf to wear it, ha ha!

Wow! That is amazing!I immediately went to your previous post (which I somehow missed before).
How you managed to get coordinating colors together from just visiting thrift shops. Well done. Will you be wearing one yourself or are you going to sell them?
Thanks for letting me look over your shoulder,
Sorry I'm a bit late but I always take my time and I love to look and read, click on links etc and that sometimes takes me all week!
Have a good one,

Love it! I have some shirts set aside to make a skirt in similar fashion myself.

Wow. I love both of these coats! You are so talented - to see the vision and put it together. Amazing! I have a pinboard called "Altered Clothing" and am amazed at what people can create.

I've had my Thanksgiving meal so it was a perfect time to visit desks - either that or take a nap!!

Happy belated WOYWW
Hugs,

Hi - they are just fantastic! I love the brown colour combo - really beautiful. I must come back and find out how you make them. I've just started a Pin board 'Rustic, Recycled and Vintage' - so many ideas, so little time!! Have a great week, Chris # 8

Thanks for your visit to my desk last week. I'm way late with my woyww-visits (due to the 'open atelier' deadline and all...) but at least I made it here before the next Wednesday ;) I am in ooh and aaawe over your fairy-coats... my son is 22 and I guess he will not want to wear something like that but if he were two... ohmy... if only he were a toddler again. Mom would go nuts with coats, ha!!! Hug from Holland, Marit #38

Beautiful transformations! Love all the layers and points. I have bought a whole lot of stuff from charity shops ready to start altering and upcycling - should be a fun project!

Thanks for your visit and your nice comment. I am glad you are enjoying my albbum! I am making it for my niece, in memory of my dad, who died almost exactly a year ago. I think he'd have been really embarrassed by the book because he was always so retiring when it came to anyone complimenting him lol!

Awesome! But you must come up for air, woman, or at least some coffee! But it's a good time of year for this kind of project - stay warm and hydrated!!
