Winter Fairy

I used the folder {Winter Wonderland} for this sample and so did Hannah. That's right, you get 'two' in 'one' folder, this saves on storage space as well.

See the step by step below to recreate this with your own choice of emboss plate

1.} Choose your embossing folder and cut a piece of chipboard that will fit easily inside. 2.} Mist the chipboard a few seconds before you run it through your cuttlebug or big shot
3.} Depending on which machine you use, you will have to experiment with your plate sandwich. I used my cuttlebug with the C plate the folder with white chipboard inside then the tan embossing mat on top. NOTE: Run your press through a couple of times before you take it out. You can color the flat side of your folder before you emboss if you wish. I used the new  Peacock Feathers. Spritz it lightly just before you run it through the machine
4.} Next use a White Dabber and scuff the high areas on the front of your design. Dry thoroughly before proceeding to the inking.
5.}Take your ink pad and apply it directly to the top.
Mist again and allow the color to seep in.
Dry thoroughly
I am making an embellishment for a soon to be scrapbook page. The stamps are from my recently reorganized stash. Available in store is a large selection of snowflakes, and we all know no two are alike.
6.}I used a watermark ink to stamp my images and white emboss powder
I could have left it like this, but decided to go in and use my new
Kaiser craft butterfly wings  behind the image.
