'Legend's I have known'- Banner
This is my corner of the House
Last year it was brand new.
Since then I have been filling in the corners
and decorating with some of the things I make
My sweet grandchildren

The Back

The Window ledge, 'fae'
this is a basement room so the view is mostly grass

Ribbons Stash

 ~Serious Storage Unit~
Stacks on Top
Top Shelves
Note I prettied up the books on the top shelf
by giving them jackets- love this look
Middle Shelf
So, I suppose you are wondering....
'whats behind that floor to ceiling unit....?'
If this was a bedroom, this area
would be the walk in closet
reinker, La Blanc and wood mounted stamps
The window on the other side....
And the window in the sill of that window...

A very old jar  my Grandmother canned with
full of good things and
draped with  crystals chandelier parts
To the right of my work counter
behind where I sit, the inspiration's to name a few...
my three Italian ancestors
~Grandfather~Father~Great Uncle~
Christmas Post cards from friends
My sweet Grandchildren~Family Collages..
The wooden barrel is a recent gift from
my mother It is over two feet wide.
My Grandfather used it to make his bread dough
I reclaimed this old table last summer
Long story, but the 'ending' was me 'happy'.
That's a wrap for this year.
Thanks ever so much  for visiting enjoy the event
Thank You Karen Valentine
for hosting this event
Karen is also the very talented
designer of my blog

Wow, LOVE your space! I think my favorite area is your yarn/fiber/thread/ribbon storage area - that is inspirational in and of itself, let alone the inspiration wall!

Glad you appreciate my sewing-machine-as-cat-display area. I learned long ago that it's no use trying to tell a cat what to do (or not to do, LOL!) Thanks for visiting my space!

What a truly beautiful and inspiring space. One of the things I have noticed in a lot of bloggers studios are special family possessions or heirlooms. I noticed you had photos of family members, your grandmothers canning jar and your grandfather's wooden bowl. I don't have anything special like that and I wish I did. How nice to be surrounded by such special treasures!

Thanks for the peek around, I love your space.
