There I Nailed it !!

Skeleton Leaf tutorials V/S  my scatter tatter results
I love these leaves, after carefully searching for a tutorial, and finding one that looked like the results I wanted thought I would give it a whirl.
This is the wonderful tutorial link

This is what the tutorial ladies look like.
And I thank her for sharing.
I love Hydrangeas, so I bought some at Costco.
They didn't even last one day in the vase, in fact one never did perk up.
 Luckily I took the photo before they wilted.
These were really pretty for less than 12 hours

This one never did perk up {see more about this later}
So this was my starting point for the skeleton leaves.
A good firm leaf
Boil the water, add the washing soda
Add the leaves and wait and wait and wait

lol maybe they could use some tissue paper to fill in the skeletons. These look tricky. I flop stuff on a regular basis - mostly food, but my family eats it anyway :)

Oh dear...that's one of the better NAILED IT! projects I've seen lately :) lol! Like Dawn mine are mostly food - my family eats it anyway, while complaining about how I'm trying to kill them!
Happy Easter, Pam :)
