T'was The Night Before...

Dr. Clement C. Moore wrote this poem.
He was born near Chelsea Square,
New York City in 1871.
He lived in a huge Victorian mansion
his entire life. There was no central heating
and the home had several large fireplaces.
You can understand where he would let his
imagination run at Christmas.
Dr. Clement wrote this story as a gift to his children.
After hanging their stockings on one of the large fireplaces,
they would gather and the poem would be read.
It is rumored that as time went on
the poem would be recited by the children
to their  friends as well.

We are one world, what happens to one
is felt by all of us.
Thank You Mr. & Mrs. McGraw

So nice to see the REAL version of this poem. And a very merry Christmas to you, too. May it be filled with joy and happiness for you and your family.
