WOYWW

WHATS ON YOUR WORK DESK WEDNESDAY?
A collage of the inside cover my altered book
 from last week
almost done that one,
just a few bits to add and strengthen the spine

That's right, a third desk...in the kitchen to sew on.
It is actually the table we use
when everyone comes home for big gatherings....
like next Sunday.... Better get busy Huh?
I am very happy to be sewing again.
This is the time of year we start to nestle down for
the winter. More time for my endless projects.
This is the start of my 'Glad Rags Gypsy Bags'
I will post more about these when I get enough done.
To see what other busy people are up to on their
work desks visit Miss Julia at
The Stamping Ground, she host's
Whats On Your  Workdesk Wednesday every Week

Beautiful altered book! Thanks for the comment on my blog. Like you, I've found the more I visit, the more visits I get! Last week I was feeling so rough all I could do was blog hop and I got a record number of comments! It's very hard to visit them all, though. I doubt if I'll make it this week as I started so late!!

You do seem to have a lot of sewing to do. Have fun. The things you would find underneath things on my workspace are the things I have been searching all day for. I really must clear up this week before i lose my mind in there.

Hurrah for sewing and bags - I love all these techniques a person can acquire as they gander through life. (By the way what you have on your hands is a table of indeterminate purpose - I have one to :)

That is a gorgeous book you have made there.
I too have some old tablecloths like those you have on your desk which were embroidered by various members of the family and which I still use.
Thanks for your comment.
